Can't delete a file!! (1 Viewer)

I tried to install an old game (betrayal at krondor) ... didint work ... I gave up. BUT: one of the files (.exe) will not delete!

It says that it is still in use by another program!?!?

Stuff I have tried:
- right-click --> delete
- restart, then right-click --> delete
- in safe mode, right-click --> delete
- cant rename or cut/paste
- delete via command prompt
- shutting down every process in task manager and trying to delete until I chut down some important crap and my computer restarted ...

Does anyone know how to kill this thing!? The other annoying thing is that I tried them game on two computers, they both failed, but this file remains on both!

cause lol i used to press alt ctrl del and then go down the processes bar and then go and kill the programs one by one till i get it lol

o yeah the program might be running in the background
so...u could always do it my way...just remove the process tree from the exe running in the system
windows task manager --> processes and u shd be fine
