When doing a case note is it possible to use headings and dot points where sentences won't flow or directly link. For example, in outlining the material facts or legal issues of a case could i say 'The material facts of the case include:
(i)................
(ii)............. etc.
I don't intend to do this for every part of the case note but just in cases such as that above. Would it be detrimental if i did? Any other suggestions?

No, that's fine. That's what I did in my Year 4 essay competition.

id check wit ur uni...

coz i asked my lecturer n she said technicaaly you can do it like that, but she wouldnt suggest it as they prefer to use headings eg Material facts of the case, Legal issues, Parties to the action etc, that way you dont need to use point form

so yeah - check wit ur uni:)
