What would be the maximum points that you could be short of for B Ed/ B Arts to be accepted in?

Well, for both primary and secondary you need an ATAR of 70.

If you get the 10 bonus points for anything (living in GWS, academic, hardship whatever) the minimum you would need is an ATAR of 60.

There is probably a bit of room to move with this, (ie. 58 plus 10 bonus points) because the courses usually aren't full.

So if you get bonuses, 60. I really wouldn't go any lower than that tbh just because it's less likely the lower you are below 70. If you were looking without bonuses, i'd say no less than 65. Even then, probably stretching it.

Hi, UWS offers a Bachelor of Arts (Pathway to Teaching Primary) and a Bachelor of Arts (Pathway to Teaching Secondary). The 2012 ATAR for admission into both these courses was 70. However, if you feel you will fall short in your ATAR, visit our Triple Advantage page to see if you will be eligible for bonus points: www.uws.edu.au/tripleadvantage. Please note that a maximum of ten bonus points can be given. For more information on admission to UWS and our triple advantage scheme, please contact the Course Information Team on 1300 897 669 or on study@uws.edu.au. Best regards, UWS Course Info.
