Hi, i was just wondering if it was possible to change from Math1131 to
math1011 in semester 2.

If so, would i be starting Math1011 from the
half-way as oppose to other people who had studied math1011 since the
start of the year? thanks

Each course goes for 1 semester, so if you fail MATH1131 in S1, u can repeat it for S2, or u can pick up MATH1011 instead, provided that MATH1011 runs in S2, which u can check in the UNSW Handbook .

Alternatively, if MATH1131 looks too hard then you can drop it before the census date, meaning that if u drop the course before that date, you dont have to pay for the course, whereas if you drop after that date you still have to pay for it even though you're not doing it anymore.
But it would also be a good idea to drop the course and pick up MATH1011 to replace it, as long as you do this before the final date in which u can enrol.

All important dates are located on the my.unsw homepage.
