Hey guys,
For the success one book (i got the 08 version), question 23 in the 2007 paper, is it me or is the answers wrong for it.
It asks to draw/write the structural formula for ethyl hexanoate.
I looked at the answers given in the back and i think they accidently added an extra carbon in, from what i see they gave the formula for ethyl heptanoate. Hex has 6 carbons so there should be 6 C's to the left of the Oxygen atom, however they have 7.
Am i right? or am i completely wrong about esterification structures?
Thanks
