is it possible to do it for my major work? i do a crime fiction 'whodunnit' kind of story and i wanna make it interesting, fun and captivating to read.

what do u say?

lol, i wouldnt. even the best of those types of stories are only half-decent at best.

and you seem to be overestimating just how long 8000 words is. its not a whole book, only a couple dozen pages

but hey, go for it. if you pull it off you'll have a good story for uni

I think it'd be best if you wrote your story with the target audience being a MARKER with a crietrion sheet in hand, not a casual reader.
