Just a couple of general questions:

1) Are you allowed to apply for lots of scholarships?
2) Are you allowed to have more than one scholarhip under your belt when you start your 1st year?
3) This might some weird, but recommended scholarships? (RTA etc)
4) Does the university itself give out scholarships based on academic performance in the HSC?

Are you a rural student, aboriginal or female?

No?

Good luck.

As far as I know, you can only have one scholarship, but you can apply for as many as you like. Some universities have one form that you fill out for all scholarship applications, and you just tick the boxes for which ones you want to apply for.

Look for scholarships that include work experience, that will save you lots of effort. Co-op at UNSW for example, although there wasn't one for civil when I last looked (2004).

Some universities give out scholarhips for people over 95 or 99, but you'll have to be a bit more specific re: which uni.

I'm currently thinking about doing a double degree (Engineering (Civil) and Commerce) at UNSW. I am also expecting a UAI of around 97+

I'm thinking about applying for the RTA scholarship for Eng/Comm cos they also provide some work experience...
