hey, you dont need a total of nine to get in your course. the reason they have nine options is that people applying have backups if they dont get into the course they want. it would be wise to pick courses that you could also use in bridging after the first year.

hope that helped :p

1. Arts Law ANU 96.5
2. International Relations ANU 90
3. Arts ANU 83

2 and 3 are hopefully just backstops...but if my HSC takes a turn for the worse, obviously I'll have to rethink.

Haven't picked my preferences (probably'll start tomorrow, when my final trial HSC exam is over) but my first three would go along the lines of B Arts at UNSW, then Sydney, then UWS. As for the next six preferences . . . Business? Education? O.O
Edit: Found out by flicking through the UAC 2007 Guide that B Arts at UWS has two locations to complete the course - Bankstown and Penrith. So that'll mean I have five preferences left.

pluvia - the way u rank ur preferences perplexes me. why is your number 2 so much higher an uai than number 1? you're wasting a spot as i dont think a degree will fluctuate 5 uai points in the timespan of a year (by wasting - i mean that if you miss the cut off for number 1 pref, you defintely wont be considered for number two as it would be significantly higher) nevertheless - there is the tiny possibility that number 2 could end up being lower than number 1.

actually - ignore me and go with your instincts - like how UAC tells u to rank in order of preference

There not in any real order yet. But I'm tossing up between putting the MACQ first or the UNSW first :p

But there is also the case if I make it into Co-op scholarship so, I'm not quite sure yet. That's just a preferred list :)

The business and science courses seem very popular.

I've read over the UAC guide, but I still haven't made up my mind :(
Like I don't even know what most of the courses are about :/
e.g Bachelor of Arts and blah blah.
You can always ask universities for more information, through their website. Or go to the Open Days (UWS had their one today). B Arts is . . . erm . . . humanities? O.O Bit hard to explain . . .
If I get to do a B Arts degree, I want to major in English.

1. B Medicine/B Surgery at UNSW: ??.??

3. B Commerce/B Laws at USyd: 99.60

5. B Arts/B Laws at UNSW: 99.20

6. B Applied Finance/B Laws at Macquarie: 95.90

Im looking at Commerce Law at UNSW however I doubt I'd get 99.20 for my UAI however in the UAC guide, it says for Commerce Law for the DFEE and IFEE row, that you only need 94 which i dont understand.
