I was just wondering, if we graduate from medicine, what do colleges(Royal college of surgeons) really look for when you apply? Is it leadership skills, and if so, owuld you suggest leadership skiils acquired through sports or charities/ Volunteer work. Also, although they do not look at marks (i think), do they look at special academic awards in medicine e.g first in pharamcology etc.?

Also would volunteer work in hospitals help???
Thanks,
PS: i know i;m looking ahead...very far indeed.:)

interest in the subjects, connections, etc... They don't look at marks. Dude, you're going be going to hospitals most days for at least 2 yrs, why would you bother with volunteer work in a hospital?!?!?
