combined med/arts @ UNCLE? (1 Viewer)

i have had a look on the Newcastle site but I couldn't find anything to indicate if you can combine med with arts and do a double degree, anyone know if this is possible?

i saw that you can do it at UWA (7 years! i wonder if many people take that option)

ummm depends u can enquire with the faculty office..

it might just need faculty approval there are lots of things that they dun publicised unless ure an exceptional student..

i'd just have fun learning languages and doing photography

a couple of my friends are doing it or at least making a start of it, and the common rationale i think is that a year in the grand scheme of things is not so much when it can be used to really broaden your horizons and do something different in a really different area of interest, because once you finish med and start doctoring, there really isn't that much opportunity to do something like that unless you want to put your career on hold. it's not for me though, i agree that 7 years is a long time...

this is like the extra BSc(Med)(Hons), BMedSc(Hons), LLB or PhD

that ppl combine with Medicine in Australia

7 yrs is not that long unless u entered the program especially old..

better to come out with 2 degrees in 7 yrs than 1 degree in 6 i think
but each unto his own..
