what is the structure of commmerce 2nd year
i only want to do marketing subjects (def not acct, econ or ecmt)
but i have to make up a certain number of credit points is that correct?
can i choose from other faculties such as arts?

Take a look in the economics and business faculty handbook.

If you're enrolled under commerce, i dont think you can choose subjects from other faculties such as arts.

"Students may select additional majors and minors offered by the
Faculty of Economics and Business or by the Faculty of Arts, Science."

You just have to complete an award course major in the comm favulty and do at least 100 CP's in the comm fcaulty.

Edit: i have major difficulties spelling "faculty" apparently...

yeh you can do stuff from arts as long as you have enough credit points from eco&bus, which will mean that you can't have an arts major, and will need to do other subjects in the eco&bus faculty. but you can just do stuff like management, HRM, 1st year CLAW etc to make up your cp

Marketing research and consumer behaviour
it's not a bad idea if there's a spare unit for you to waste. plus it can help spread out the commerce prereqs
