Just wondering, if i plan to major in accounting, should I do the bridging course offered by the university? As it's Commerce (Liberal Studies), I don't have to do all the compulsory subjects of a commerce degree, but I do have to do a subject called Business and Economic Statistics A in my second semester (EMCT1010). I reallyyyy don't want to do it, but I have to maintain a distinction average otherwise the bastards take away my scholarship. I did General Maths btw. The thing is I think I will have forgotten everything if I learn the maths now and do the subject in Semester 2. Oh, and I did try to ring the university but the dept was closed, so don't bag me out lol.

the subjects offered in the bridging course are biology, physics, chemistry and 2,3 units maths. check what the assumed knowlege or recommended knowlege is for commerce and if there is maths, then it would be good to do 2 unit maths.
