I realized last week that I had 2 subjects which could be done as electives in both international business and chinese studies.

So i asked a couple lecturers if I did these subs, could I count them towards both majors.

I got two conflicting answers!!!

so what's the deal here. Could I save myself some UOCS by doing common subjects?

I think for double degrees in the end you have to have done a certain amount of units? Ask the head of the school perhaps.

this is a tough question
technically, you should be able to count it toward both majors, because i dont think the my.unsw system takes that into account, but I really doubt it would be possible..check with the FCE student office.
