to anyone who has/is doing comp 114 just wondering how to study for this exam cos i definitely don't wanna do it again..like should i just look at the lecture notes or also the book?

well my friend said that the lecturer said that all u gotta do is read the lecture slides and know the assignments, and i was talking to this guy who did it ages ago, and he said that you gotta know ur pracs and the questions they ask you is like in the tutes, but the lecturer said that this exam is gonna be different to other years so yeh i dunno

its a pretty safe bet that anything thats examinable in a comp unit will have been covered in tutes & pracs. if they say it could be different, it could be. ive never even heard of Frank Moisiadis, so i dont know if he's crazy or not, id still prolly just go through your tutes and pracs and use the lecture notes/text to answer the questions. its how i usually revise comp and its served me pretty well.

yeah i just hope i get all the sql questions atleast nearly right...cos i knowi won't get them all rite..anyway when do we get our assignments back?

yea, there were weird questions in the test, how did the SQL go, i think out of 40 i scored around 30ish or slightly less

hmm...MC questions were a bit screwed up, but overall it was an alright exam
