Concession Passes? (1 Viewer)

I went into Newcastle University on Monday to get everything done and one of those things was to fill in the concession card. So does anyone know if that is a separate card or do we just show out identification card? The reason I ask is that on the bottom right hand of my identification card there is a little CityRail emblem. So does this mean that the identification card doubles as a concession card?

they asked if i wanted one...but well, there aint exactly such a thing as public transport where im from

Fair enough then. So I am confused now because why does it only have the CityRail emblem and not the Newcastle Busses emblem?

If you are eligible GET IT. That little emblem entitles you to student concession fare on ANY public transport service.

It is also proof that you are eligible for other student concessions, like student priced movies or whatever.

but i dont need public transport, i drive everywhere, there is no such thing as public transport here
and for other student concessions, ive just got to flash the id card, it doesnt matter if it has the sticker on or not
