Hey legal eagles sup?

last years HSC consumers' question;

"outline the legal issues facing consumers and evaluate the extent to which the remedies available to consumers achieve justice".

how would u go about answering that?

hmm i got something similar to that in the trials...
try talking about the problems consumers face and how they try and fix it...u can assess the remedies by looking at how well they work...Focus on the Fair trading tribunal (now called Consumer tenancy Trading Tribunal) and how that helps...

questions will always be along these lines. What you need to do is choose 3 (or 4 if you think you will have time to write that much) issues that come under the consumers topic (I don't do consumers but going by the textbook perhaps: regulation of advertising, financing a purchase, contracts) and identify how the law regulates this (this is where you include your agencies that help consumers redress problmes), and is it effective enough for consumers to achieve justice?
