Yes

You will probably get 94+ or something better,

Good ranks, band 5 and 6s.
(You're scaring me with the IPT mark ;))

My friend recently got their IPT trial back.. 99.5%

I was in absolute shock. Even more so when they told me that their average was now 98.8%...

I just don't know how some people do it. :(

Even I don't average 98.8%

Maybe 94 if I'm lucky

Yes, it's possible. But General Maths isn't going to help your cause.

if that cant get you a 83 it wont get me a 70

EDIT: which means it is certainly achievable

probably even 90 is possible, if you keep that SDD AND IPT MARKS IN THE HSC I MEAN WOW BAND 6'S IN THOSE 2 ARE LIKE

"ULTRA GOOD"

The marks could depend on his school assessments, they might be a little easier than other schools, not saying they are.

Even topping General Maths doesn't scale anywhere near Ext1 Maths. But hey, 2 units won't hurt much, if they're aiming for 83.
