Hey just wondering if anyone has any creatve ideas about making a red cedar dining table

turn the legs, do carvings maybe, in each of the corners, like little scroll thingo's.

that would loook lik the olden days work the carvings and stufff and they kinda hard tooo... modern is lik straight legs but they wont score high marks i unno ..

make the legs in a bent shape turing the leg is alrite but it isnt hard depends on the difficulty of ur design cause u gotta make 4 leggs the same maybe maake the legs in a bent shape and roughter the top thats onli the basic idea..

For my dressing table last year, I did a sort of a cabriole leg, where I had to turn some of the leg off center to make a little foot at the bottom, and part of the leg oval. I only did the front two legs this way. I wanted to do carvings on my table but I ran out of time and the timber was to nice to wreck with a carving.
