So one of the sections of my ext assignment is a response to reading, and i have to select a crime fiction text and write the transcript of an interview with the author, using the module rubric as a basis for the questions.
Can anyone give me some suggestions/ideas for questions? im a bit stuck. thanks to anyone who replies

- "Why did you write in the style you did?"

- "Which prevous authors did you model your work off/who do you admire?"

- "What does the Crime Fiction genre mean to you?"

thanks for the reply McLake, good suggestions :)
so one of my questions is:
-"By the time you began writing, the genre of crime fiction was well established, with definite rules and conventions. Which of these conventions did you choose to incorporate/subvert, and why?"

BTW, my text is an agatha christie

reckon that sounds suitable?

Yup, that sounds good.

In the response to the question make sure that you make it clear that you are aware of the conventions of the time. I would also get her to talk about other "Golden Age" authors, such as Dorethy L. Sayers.
