anyone have just a simple list of all definate conventions in crime fictions respective sub-genres?.. mainly, hardboiled, soft and cosy..

for ages ive been trying to find some material that puts together all these conventions floating around into just something clear and consice.. its annoying trying to work out if a particular characteristic is actually a convention of one sub-genre or another sometimes
