Is there any forms of critical response other than essay, feature article, review and report that people know of? Input much appreciated.

I read in Young Writiers Showcase 2001 that one person did almost a conversation with Anton Checkov, and through it disscussed the work with him, it was sort of like an essay, but different! Apparently she did well, she did get into the showcase!

So almost like an interview transcript then? I don't know if that would work for my topic but thanks

Not like a transcript, more like a monologue.

You can do a feature article or a sort of sunday life article which is a bit more flexiable
