Since i have direct entry to UWS, cause of me goin to SWIC, and i was gonna apply for study at UWS. i was wondering, and i saw a thing on CIS, and thought that since im from wollongong, and if i dont get accepted for mid year entry there, could i do CIS through UWS but do my course at UOW. and does anyone know how this works?

well you can but what this means is that you do a similar unit at a different insitution. the only thing that may be a problem is some units are not the same thing as units from another uni, so after getting into a uws course, you have to ask your course coordinater about doing it.
an exampl is someone (Dingo2004) mentioning that at UTS an intro accounting subject equaled about 2 subjects that was coevered at UWS so you need to make sure...

hey natstar, did you consider any other uni's? like which ones are closer to you other than UOW? like scu or something...

CIS is generaly for electives to be studied and not for cores.
also that you ahve to complete at least 1/3rd of your degree at uws, e.g. for a 3 year program, you have to complete at least 1 year at uws.

note to natstar, parra is bloody expensive. an international friend is renting for like 285 p/week. thats f'ing deranged pricing, but his apartment is near the parra river.

yes...i ddint think of that, but food, phone and electricity? adn then the thigns like tv, saucepan, laundry, computers, travel, fridge, and other expenses. ofcourse im thinking from an individual perspective but still expenses seem high to me.
