Hey guys,
As per the title, what do you think is a better degree to do? I've heard that cs is more theory based and not as practical based as software engineering. I was thinking of doing a commerce double degree with either cs or software but nah I'm kinda lost.
Thanks :)

You can see the subject difference in the handbook. There's very little difference. It comes down to if you want to 100% be locked into a seng thesis, do seng workshops (which I've been told are average at best).

Do comp sci, especially since you want to do a double. It's more flexible. Notice the 5.5 years vs 4 years.

Tech companies don't care which one you do.

edit: oops btw this reply is specific to unsw, also go to unsw for computing
