Hi everybody,
I'm currently a student 1st semester, 1st year student of Curtin University.
I am currently plan on studying the Economics & Finance major but am considering transferring to RMIT University in Melbourne.
My question, is should I go through with it?
Is RMIT a good university for economics?
According to word of mouth, Melb uni and monash are better unis for the course I'm taking but I didnt meet the prerequites for methods.
As I'm just starting out it's hard to decide based on the course structure of both unis.
RMIT has compulsory subjects for first year business courses and so does curtin.
I've also been told that RMIT's economics course is not as mathematical as melb/monash and this would be a major disadvatage.
Curtin's business school is well regarded but RMIT I'm not sure.
Either way, would the quality of education that I'd be receiving differ significantly whether I transferred or not?
I was wondering whether someone could help me out with this as I have no one to talk this about with. I don't really want to make any wrong decisions in my life.
