i can do most of the curve sketchin except for 2 kinds!!!!!

ln.f(x)
&
e^f(x)

i cannot draw them!

i don't have an example but im sure someone can make a curve up!

please help me......time is running out :eek:

1. Plot critical points:

With ln.f(x), the graph will be zero whenever f(x) is 1, and the graph will not exist when f(x) < 0.
When 0<f(x)<1 the graph will be negative.

With e^f(x), the graph will be 1 whenever f(x)=0, e whenever f(x)=1. It wont be zero, so will always be above the axis (unless it says -e^f(x) obviously)
With e^f(x), it helps to know whether f(x) is even or odd, because this will determine whether e^f(x) is even/odd

2. Plot what happens as x-->(+/-)Infinity.

e^f(x) grows very quickly when f(x) is positive, but also gets small very quickly when f(x) is negative.

Try e^(-x^2): Plot -x^2 first, then work from there.
Try ln(sin(x))
