Hi, I'm in Year 10 at the moment and I have to pick my subjects for Year 12.
They gave us our lines and all I want to do on the list is english, maths, d&t, modern history, visual arts and textiles.
Do you think picking D&T, Visual arts and Textiles together will be way too much work because theyre all practical and involve major design projects. Do u think it would be dumb to choose them all or can it be done?
I'd appreciate any suggestions coz im not getting any help at school

hey if you wanna do three practical subjects go for it, i do drama, visual art and textiles and im coping. the key is 2 get ahead, when you have a few things due it is hard but if as soon as you get your projects you start working and work hard you'll be fine. I started working on my major stuff for the h.s.c during the summer holidays, i still went out:) infact i only spent a week, maybe not even, 5 days were i put time aside and focused completly on school work biggest tip, turn off the t.v, dnt go on msn jst get into your project for an hour or more after you've gone out during the day or before you go out at night. make sense? ausome now go and make sum cool stuff in you practical subjects

i think if its what you really want to do then youll be able to cope with the workload, because when its something you really want then you take it seriously and use your time well. as long as you dont leave all three major works to the last minute, youll do fine. good luck!

my sis does Drama, Music and Art.. 3 major projects...

I think if you enjoy it, do it, there is no use being at school at hating every moment of a business class or something when you could be doing something you love...

I wish I had of done Textiles and Metal as well as my Timber and Furnishings...
