Deferring a Scholarship (1 Viewer)

I plan on working for a year to earn Youth Allowance whilst I study, and then going to UOW in 2006. But I was offered a scholarship, is it possible to defer the scholarship at all? Has anyone done this before?

personally, i wouldn't take my chances, but i don't know the rules, so....

couldn't you be working while you went to uni anyway?? and also get Youth Allowance or Austudy (i'm not totally sure what each entails...)

i'm fairly sure you cant, unless you have extremely extenuating circumstances, like your parents died and you have to look after your siblings or something.
annoying huh. but check with the uni to be sure
