i jus came home from skool today from a 3 unit assessment and realised my last page of the exam was wedged between my writing pad. after calling the skool, i quickly rushed back fearing the worst and though the maths head teacher took it she said she wouldnt get her hopes high but that i can only appeal. i swear to god i didnt cheat or realise until then and i did check my pages were stapled in wen i gave in my paper but i guess i didnt see the extra page. this is a page worth 10 marks. now i have to write a statement to the board of appeal. what do you think are my chances? ive already stuffed up my last 3 unit exam, is it possible to not do so well in your assessments and still get 95 or above?

this is just ur second assessment , i guess! even if u don't do well in this , work really hard from now n do extremely well in the coming tasks. i don't know much abt the appeal 2 the board n stuff n how they go abt it ???
neways u can still do well in ur cuming exams n get 95+.

yeh its my 2nd 3unit maths assessment that ive just stuffed up. ive done relatively well (average 90-95%) in most other subjects but 3unit counts most to my 10 units because im doin 4unit maths and the bulk of 4unit is 3 unit isnt it? i wonder if doin well in everything else will bring up my overall mark and uai? =\

i hav no idea how the appeal works, jus that i have to write a statement explaining why i handed in late n asking for consideration. im so down in the dumps, i feel like strangling myself for being so stupid and careless but i will try harder. im jus scared if i try hard it wont b hard enuf cuz that's at least 30% of my skool maths assessments ive stuffed up but thanks for ur encouragement neway elizabethy

hey don't get yourself so down!! i caused myself to miss abour 12 marks on one paper, and it didn't make much difference to my oveall rank. those marks are a small proportion of the test, which is a small proportion of the percentage the test is worth, which is small of the 100 your school is worth, which is then divided in 1/2. in the end it's not TOO much

thanks for the support! ive realised not to make a big deal out of such a miniscule thing. its jus a number on a piece of paper in the end rite? not the end of the world. thanks agen
