bba/bcom(accounting) and app fin/bcom(accounting)

i will most probably be doing either of these 2 courses. i have no real idea what i can expect from either, ie- areas of study, careers.
if anyone would have any input to what might be different for either one, it would be appreciated.

The difference between BBA and App Fin, eh?

App Fin is more Accounting and Economics.

BBA is more Business Admin?

I don't have much idea. I have some friends doing BBA but they don't talk much about there course, but that's also true about App Fin.

In a single BBA degree you get to choose two elective modules. However with BBA/Accg one of your elective modules is automatically accounting, and you get too choose one other module which cant be business law.

The elective modules available are:
Business Demography
Economics
Environmental and resource management
Finance
Human Resource Management
Information Systems
Japanese Business I
Japanese Business II
Langauages ( chinese or french or german)
Marketing
New public management
Operations research
Organisational psychology
Stakeholder management

If you hate economics i wouldnt advise you go for applied finance.

I choose marketing as my elective module as its interesting and would balance the boringness of accounting :)
