i was wondering if anyone has any information or links to helpful information on Digital Information Storage?
its for a 5 minute speach. it requires a short history of it, the physics involved (main part), impact on society/environment, and a bit on the future direction fo research.
it can be anything like magnetic tape, Hard drives of computers, cd's. anything of the like.
Any information would be very gratfully appeciated.
