I had to install quicktime at one moment, but the quicktime package was bundled with 'iTunes'. It was necessary to install that in order for quicktime to work. But 'iTunes' also brought in iPod service, I don't have an iPod and don't plan to buy any. Right now i have "iPodService.exe" in my processes. It doesn't take up much processing but its place there was not authorised by me.. I didn't want the service to be installed.
EDIT: ie. can I just "end process" it?
