hey i got a differnt question.

my graphics card allows this thing , that u can have two display settigns or something.

have a look.

does anyone know what it means

Yes if you have 2 monitors then both will work as independant monitors so you could check your email while playing a full screen game without having to hit alt-tab as far as I know

That's for dual monitors. You can plug in two monitors, have double sized displays, et cetera.

when i select the second display its set on everytihng really low , but i have change the resolution to 2048 x 1536 , but with my other display i cant go that high. wierd

Yes it's most likely that you haven't got any monitors connected to it at the moment, hence the graphics card doesn't know any limitations for that monitor. I think you can even set the refresh rate higher too.
Usually a 17" Monitor only supports resolutions up to 1280 x 1024.
I've personally never seen any monitors that can display up to 2048 x 1536 (that is actually coming across to one and witnessing such high resolutions). No one I know have such good monitors

It's a great function for as said above, doing multiple stuff without switching (alt-tabbing).

I use this all the time with my laptop. Connect it to an external monitor so i have 2 screens. Great for comparing documents, or using a screen dedicated for emails, weather, etc.
