Hi guys,
My name is Chris and I know that Bored of Studies is geared more towards high school and Uni students but I have an advertisement aimed towards students in Year 5, preparing for the Selective Test. So if you know anyone currently looking for Selective Examination preparation or something that is better than what they currently have, please give my ad a read. Also if any of you want any proof of my credentials or statements that I’ve made, please PM me and I’d be happy to oblige.
I am the main tutor and director of ‘Alpha One Coaching College”, which is the only specialised Selective tutoring centre in Australia to be taught, run and directed by exclusively graduates of James Ruse Agricultural High School. By hiring exclusively James Ruse graduates with extensive teaching backgrounds, we ensure that our students receive the highest quality teaching by tutors who understand absolutely everything about the Selective Examination.
I personally graduated from James Ruse Agricultural High School in 2014 as a Premier’s All Rounder and currently study Medicine at university. Ever since I graduated, I’ve worked at tutoring centres and as a private tutor. Over the past 2+ years, I have accumulated over 2000 hours of both 1on1 and group tuition experience. I’ve specialised in the Selective Test and know all of the ‘ins and outs’ of the Selective test and understand exactly what you need to do to get into your preferred Selective school.
When I was teaching at large tuition centres, I realised that the courses are run and written by middle-aged people who have never even sat the Selective exam, but all of our teachers at Alpha One are graduates from James Ruse Agricultural High School. They are all studying Medicine, Law or other highly regarded courses at university, so not only will they help the students prepare for the Selective test, they will also motivate and inspire them for future success.
We also provide many free services outside of class hours. For all students enrolled in our group classes, we will provide help with questions and school homework outside of class hours, via email. We also have free tutorial sessions before each class, where the students may sit with the tutors and receive help with questions. Over the course of the preparation, I personally will help develop unique learning plans for each student and will discuss them with the parents during free consultation meetings.
Unlike other tuition centres, we are located at a private location in Castle Hill. This creates a comfortable learning environment to maximise the student’s concentration and focus. Our classrooms are set up with all learning essentials such as whiteboards, ergonomic desks and state-of-the-art technology to provide the highest quality learning environment. In each class, there will only be a handful of students (maximum 7) to ensure that we have optimal numbers which promote both friendly competition whilst minimising disruptions.
We also have an impressive record with almost all students being successful in gaining a spot in their chosen Selective schools. The fact that many of our students have gained acceptance into the top schools such as James Ruse Agricultural High School, Baulkham Hills High School and North Sydney Boys High School is a testament to our preparation program which has proven to work.
