doing 2 languages in yr11 (1 Viewer)

i'm having trouble with subject selections....is it possible to pick up 2 languages at the same time? i'm thinking about japanese beginner and german beginner

does it sound sucidal? i actually self taught myself japanese this year and pretty confident that i can do well LOL

subjects that i've chosen:
- esl
- maths ext 1
- econ
- physics
- japanese beginner
- german beginner

if your school offers it i don't see why you cant. even if they don't just talk to the languages head teacher, i'm sure they can sort something out with you. the single most important thing in languages is interest, and it sounds like you have that in abundance, so you will be fine.

japanese is very a very logical and structured language, just be sure to keep up with all the vocab and kanji you need to know.

uhm, from what i did of german (year 7) :eek: its similar to english and simple enough.

edit: i see you're doing esl...why don't you look to do the background speakers course in your first language?
