for the AOS how do you prepare for section 1 and 2 of the paper?
are there any techniques in answering the question in section 1 and how to create an extended metaphor for section 2, making your own text...

i guess with section 1 - only way to prepare for it is to do some practice reading tasks.. and to revise techniques used in diff texts etc..

section 2 just have a generic story and a few backups in mind. you can't do much else really.. just try to refrain from making up lame stories that end with something like "then i woke up"

i remember teacher sayiing use extended metaphor for the section2, can any me give me example of a journey story with integrated metaphor?
