CHANGE TO END OF YEAR 2005 EXAMINATION PERIOD DATES

It is expected that construction on the University Aquatic Centre will begin in early July 2005. As a consequence of this construction, the University Gymnasium will be unavailable as an examination venue and in order to compensate for the loss of this space, it will be necessary to extend the examination period for the 2005 end of year examinations.

The 2005 end-of-year examinations will now be held between Wednesday, 16 November and Friday, 2 December 2005. The examination period will also include examinations on Saturday, 19 November 2005.



UNIT RESULT NOTIFICATIONS

Following the successful implementation of the eStudent website, the University has determined that in future no paper-based unit result notifications will be sent to students, except for those students who qualify for an award. All unit result information and details regarding eligibility to graduate can be obtained from the eStudent website.

Students requiring written proof of their results should arrange to purchase an official academic transcript.

i don't really want to start a new thread
the aquatic centre is being built earlier than i expected
but wtf with not sending paper based results? looks like people *need* the net these days. is it cheaper for them though? they better put that money to good use

but itll cost them heaps to hire one of them internet geeks to program all that geeky stuff...

when were out semester 2 finals meant to be?

they were supposed to be 16/11 to 30/11.. so it isnt too much of an extension
ok so my cro250 exam now shows up in my e student thingo.. thursday 23rd of june 9:20am for 2 hours.. i thought they would do it on a weekend because most people have like full time jobs or go to another university and do it externally.. still not happy i miss out on half a day of my prac which i will have to make up some other time.. most likely when it inconveniences me lol
oh and its 2 days before my birthday.. so ill be stressing with all those preparations.. great!
