Oh When The Saints!

Premiership
4.75 BRISBANE BRONCOS
6.5 NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS
7 STGEORGE ILLAWARRA DRAGONS
9 SYDNEY ROOSTERS
9 BULLDOGS
9 CRONULLA SHARKS
11 MELBOURNE STORM
13 PENRITH PANTHERS
15 PARRAMATTA EELS
15 MANLY SEA EAGLES
26 CANBERRA RAIDERS
31 NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS
67 WESTS TIGERS
251 SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS
251 NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS

If Brisbane beat the Cowboys tonight (I tipped NQL, though), watch as we firm into second favourite to win the competition over the course of the next week.

The rest of the competition should start to quiver in their boots.

We still aren't playing anywhere near our potential, and we've just beaten Penrith by 22.

GO YOU MIGHTY DRAGONS!

I question your premiership abilities.

Yeah, that's right.

Who doesn't?

They make the finals most seasons. But their main problem in recent years has been an inability to put together four or five weeks of solid footy.

The last time the Dragons won five in a row was in 1999. While we may well get our fifth win in a row against Newcastle next weekend, we haven't been playing good enough footy.

So, as a Dragons fan, I'm still not convinced enough that they can win 4 consecutive matches against top 8 sides. Their finals run could be something like this:

Week 1: Manly at Brookvale
Week 2: Melbourne at Aussie
Week 3: Cowboys at Telstra
Week 4: Brisbane at Telstra

I still am not convinced that we have the consistency to win those four games in a row.

yeah, most of the last few games have been against teams that have been out of form so far this season, or against teams that jst played badly during hte game...though one thing u dnt want to give the dragons, is to much breathing space on the score board; 20-10 on the score board, could easily turn into 50-10 in a matter of mnutes:)
