How on earth do u burn these (nero doesn't have dvd-audio option) and what players can u get on the markets now (portable and stereo system)

When we publish 5.1 audio at uni, we create it as a DVD-video with no image.

But to answer the original question, you need special authoring software to create them (Nero is not one of them). Googling turns out wonderful results:
