Is it about the right time to be applying for easter positions with major employers such as ColesMyer? Or is it starting to get a bit late??

I would've applied earlier except i thought i was going to college this semester... now i've changed my mind and am taking a leave of absence for one year... mainly to finish my cert IV, also to do some more part-time or casual work.

also, would it be a major disadvantage that i'm 19yrs old and don't have experience in the retail industry?

*argh* i need a job!

i believe coles myer recruit in late jan/early feb. perhaps they also contact their christmas casuals and aks them to work during easter. i wouldn't say being 19 years old is much of a disadvantage, for a lot of positiosn they would like some one around your age.
