Hi all,

Just wondering how difficult ECON334 really is. In terms of preparation, would ECON131 be sufficient? I didn't go too well with STAT170 and so am a little concerned.

Although ECON232 is not a prerequisite it is highly recommended.

I never did ECON131, although STAT170 was many leagues below ECON232 - so if you didn't do well, you're probably going to struggle in ECON334.

To put it with transitive relation subject to difficulty:

ECON232 > ECON141 > STAT170

Thanks for that.

That's what's concerning me at the moment. I'm trying to maintain my GPA but I know anything related to econometrics isn't going to be my strength and will most likely bring it down.

At the moment I'm required to do ECON241 before 332. Going off your advice I think I'll probably use ECON232 as a stepping stone to ECON334.
