Calculations: What you would normally do in mathematics. Constant repetition of same concept with different questions.

Theoritical Problem Solving: I used a mindmap. increase inflation=decrease unemployment= increase Y= increase spending = increase output=increase revenue=increase general level of economic activity.

Something like that anyway. :)

whats so hard about the maths exactly? the multiplier calculation is easy and requires BASIC BASIC algebra (oh, and the abilty to add a couple of numbers :p)

what else? gini co-efficient...umm they add up to one...simple

components of AD and eco growth?

its not the maths that I'm worried about, its more about a lack of knowing what a skills test was like. I mean, you know what eco exams are usually like, some multiple choice, some short answer and then an essay....so whats a skills based one like? we asked our teacher for last year's exam equivalent but he said that he doesnt have a copy... So i just want to do some practising and maybe see what it would be like. So i don't walk in cold.

I did a skills based exam worth 25% last year. Yuck! :p
What was required was the ability to apply learned concepts into a 'real' situation. E.g. From tabulated data, work out the AD of the economy. Most of the questions should be based around the Economic issues chapter.

I have a skills test today.

Does anyone have a past paper of their school's eco skills test? I would LOVE some practice before it starts :D
