Does anyone know how to explain simply how to find the direction of eddy currents?!? I am just not getting this :confused:

Yeah, have to look at the direction of the magnetic field and how it is changing.

Depending on the situation, you'll find for example, on magnetic braking you'll use the right hand rule, as the charges in the steel wheel move through a magnetic field.

In a transformer, eddy currents will be induced as the magnetic field trhrough the iron changes. Lenz's Law.
