i have to this answer question by tomorrow the question is:
your local community is publishing a collection of young peoples imaginative writing about jounrneys.
choose 2 images from the noticeboard. use each image as the basis for your contribution to the collection.
i have to submit 2 pieces. could please post some sample answers thanks.
the noticeboard has pictures of a detour sign, 2 hands, postage stamps, postagestamp with hands pointing around it, a catapillar with with blurb.

Heh, last years hsc!! Fond memories.
What is the journey? You shoudl have this memorised by now =p

detour sign - starting off, intention to go somewhere, taking a different route...why did you take that different route, what has come of it.....
2 hands -
postage stamps - something international perhaps
postagestamp with hands pointing around it
a catapillar with with blurb - this could be fun. You could make up some whacky story about a talking cattepillar or something. Its imaginative remember.

Think about what the images mean to you. What do you associate them with? It is only as a basis. Incorporate the process of the journey. Catalyst. Perhaps the sign triggers something. The hands, maybe meeting a new person. What happens next?

Just a note: It always helps so much more to let yourself think, come up with something and go from there rather than turn staight to someone elses work
