Marking and Scaling:
-does EE1 have to count in order that EE2 may also count?

Is this one true? Because it contradicts some information I've read, such as Renches posts in the thread you've linked above it ie- "4 unit replaces 2 unit?"

I was under the impression that if Ext 1 and 2 scored higher than Advanced, Advanced may not count, though it could very well be possible that phatic is correct. I would suggest asking your teacher.

I have asked my teacher and principal this question and they support the idea that it *can* replace Advanced if you have insufficient units, but that in the majority of student's cases it is only theoretical since they are usually strong enough in English if they do Extensions for it to count above most other units in the given 10.
