English Notes? (and a science question) (1 Viewer)

Does anybody have any links to good English notes? Im looking for something with language/visual techniques and the different text types (how to write them).

Additionally, does anybody know if we are required to mention anything a scientist has discovered/done in detail? Not obvious things like Mendels peas or Darwins evolution theory. I have seen people discussing Australia scientists discoveries - we haven't done anything like that at school, so should I quickly try to learn something? Anybody got any suggestions for that, or have any idea what extended response/short questions could be about?

There's another thread about those techniques. It's brief though.

For Science I've seen like 1 or 2 questions about like scientists and that. In the 2008 they asked about Australian scientists that made a contribution. Just do Fiona Woods. She made spray on skin for burn victims. It speeds up recovery and decreases risks of infections.

Ok so if they had it last year very unlikely it would be on this years. Also are you able to link me to the techniques thread?
