Hey guys!

Has anyone come across or sat a question in their area of study paper that asks for specific reference to one of the texts in the stimulus booklet like, for example, The Door or something?

Are they allowed to do that in the HSC?

Technically they could but the teaching guidelines specify in-depth study of texts realting most to your area (i.e. self, perspective, worlds) and some of these texts are more suitable for one area over another and so in referring to a specific text from the stimulus booklet they would be disadvantaging certain students, and would leave themselves open to a huge uproar.

i dont think they can, not all texts in stimulus can apply to the different set texts schools are studying.....
