I bought this at Chinatown sometime last year, being a huge Wong Kai Wai fan, and an admirer or Antonioni and Soderberg. I should've known that for $10, the DVD turned out to be Italian with traditional Chinese subtitles (not so good with the traditional Chinese). Recently I downloaded just the one Wong Kar Wai section, the one part that's received the most praise, and it's exceeded even my expectations. This short film packs every bit as much elegance and understated emotional punch as Wong's best work in In The Mood For Love and Chungking Express. Has anyone else seen it?

Haven't seen it, but I've been keen ever since it was first released. I've heard nothing but contempt, though, for Antonioni's segment and strained praise for Soderberg's efforts.

But yes, I'm a Wong Kar-Wai nut myself, so I'm looking forward to his "the Hand" (I think it was called?) part of Eros. Although ordering a DVD for one small segment? :S I'm a poor student. I don't think I can manage!

Eh... you go to UOW right? I can probably get it to you somehow.

At the moment it's in Italian with dodgy subtitles though :p

Ah, considering WKW is 99% visuals I can't imagine that'd be too much of an issue. :p

I'll whip you a PM.
