hey peepz wot r the min requirements to get in esl??? n how come esl gets scaled betta than eng standard???

You can do ESL if you have been learning English for less than 5 years.

ESL seems to scale better because the quality of the candidates is overall better than the candidates doing English Standard. That is, ESL students generally gets higher marks in ALL their subjects than Standard does.

hey i can do it! but mai skool doesnt hab esl course so ish dere n e outside skool that offers esl for hsc??? lyk tafe etc.....urgent pls

i dont think it is possible to do english esl if they dont have it in your school. it would be too complicated to do english by correspondence or in tafe. just do standard english

but datz unfair then if u havent been here for 5 yrs, but u hab to do standard eng which is less scaled than esl...

hmmm...are you in year 12 now? if you are in year 12 now, it's too late! But if you are in year 11, you can apply to do ESL at TAFE (whichever one is the closest to your house).

If you can't, talk to the head teacher of English and make him/her allow you to do correspondence. That is, some other school sends you the materials and you have to learn the course by yourself.

u should be able to do it in ur nearest tafe
