in section 3, if the Q doesnt mention any text type, does it mean we have to write in essay or can we write in any form?
(if it doesnt mention that you can write in any form either)

i think its pretty safe to say that if they don't specify anything, its best to just stick to an essay. All other texts types are just essays in disguise anyways :p

but sometimes if we write in non-essay we might be able to develop clearer voice and sense of audience etc.
and maybe get extra marks for that :D

Well, I guess that you could always write a story... in my Trial EE1 exam, they just said to write a creative writing thing about RFTG and that was it... most of us wrote stories :D:D:D Yay for EE2...
