5 min reading time obv read all the questions and get a good look at the bigger questions like conics and q7 and 8 cause I believe in the bullshit that your subconscious works on it
also its so that when you get there you know a bit about it already and dont waste time reading freshly on what the question says and asks

my strategy:
Q1 - be done in 8-10 minutes
Q 1-4 - be finished in under 55 minutes
Q 5-6 - conics eats up heaps of time here - be done by the 1 hour and 40 minute mark
Q 7-8 - 1 hour and 20 minutes hopefully for these

i used this strategy in the last two papers i did in exam conditions.

Hmm yea good idea to be attempting the circle geo question in reading time. Circle geo questions for me eat away all the time, so that extra 5 minute could help.

lol i sometimes talk to myself before an exam (i'm not crazy!!)

As for actual exam strategy the best way is usually just to go in sequential order tbh.

heres my strat; read the questions in the reading time, and figure out the easiest ones

go through the whole paper doing all the easy ones, that you know you can do without much thinking and not much time

go through the whole paper 2nd time around doing all the questions that are able to be done with a few mins of thinking and solving, ones that will take up some time, but you know how to answer it

lastly go through the paper 3rd time doing all the difficult questions

How I do a 4unit paper:
Q1 integration 5-8
Q2 complex 5-8
Q3 5-10 mins depends on length
Q4 5 6 same as 3
Q 7 8 8-20 mins depending on difficulty
Test done in 56-86 mins.
Next take a 20 minute break/nap
Your hand will need it

I flick through the exam, do the questions that I think that it will take me the longest/hardest because there is no point doing the easier questions in your head during your reading time.

Have a feel for the paper.

A good method is the Greek one, start from
8 and work backwards, for some reason
It works faster

During reading time read from the back to the front.

Then do the paper front to back.

No need for any of these crazy jumping around techniques, just if you get to a question that you can't do straight away - skip it and come back later.
